This week I was at the Social Media Strategies Conference in San Francisco at Fort Mason. It was a one day conference about how businesses can use social media.I was able to interview Zach Roth and Jun Loayza of SocialMediaMarketing.com, a conference sponsor that specializes in social media marketing, driving traffic and increasing conversions and ROI for businesses.

Tell me about your Blog?Debt Free Hispanic is a blog about personal finance from a Hispanic perspective. It is in English, although many people associate the word Hispanic and assume Spanish speaking. I write about ways to save money and pay down debt. Since our income will make us wealthy, I talk about how to free it up by paying down personal debt.

Why I am un ollowing everyone on TwitterTwitter should be about conversation. You cannot listen to 30,000 people you are following. That is it. I could go on about to much spam etc but it is just that I cannot hear what anyone is saying. It is not just you, it is not personal.

Matt Wood (Matthew Wood) an InterviewThis was the first say of the A4uexpo, which was a very successful show, longer write up to come. Matt Wood and the team executed A4uexpo perfectly. I have been changing Matt of ever for an interview but somehow I diaries never matched.

Dennis Yu thinks he can give blogging tips, can he?”Every few days I go into Google Analytics to see what’s driving traffic to my site……And found that I was ranking #2 out of 58,300,000 results, with the #1 result being Facebook themselves.  Here’s what I’ve learned: if Google thinks your blog is good enough to rank on a competitive keyword, then by all means you should blog more about that keyword and related keywords.

A4uexpo Review The A4uexpo are a great success drawing in most of the UK affiliates living in the UK and Europe. Matt Wood and his team choreographed the event with military precision. I got to a lot of conferences and events and this one had the best timing and organization I have seen in a long while, look out Adtech.

They have the largest lottery in the world with a 25 Million Euro purely online, if the National Lottery affiliate program works well for you then their program could work for you.

Geoff travels the world more than me! While his blog is mostly a personal blog he is turning in to quite a Travel Blogger.   Geoff a creative and talented entrepreneur is planning to travel the world over the next few years and looking for travel blogging contacts in South America for his next trip.

Facebook application promotion the truth is hereDennis Yu analyst and co-founder at BlitzLocal.com wrote about Facebook application promotion.”We’re probably paying 15 cents a click for Facebook traffic, but the 80%+ bounce rate means we’re losing 4 out of every 5 folks on the landing page. With Google AdWords, we’re paying 50 cents a click, but bouncing only 42%– in other words, losing 2 out of every 5 visitors.

Shawn Collins an interview. I got a great little interview with Shawn last week. This was the third take, somehow ever time we started a truck went past. I asked Shawn about his blog and the conversations he has at affiliatetip.com and Askshawncollins.com. Shawn would like advice as to what is the formula to get people to comment.
