Top10.co.uk is a comparison portal focusing on digital communications, our aim is to simplify the process of finding the right broadband or mobile phone package to save you time. The two key sites are the UK’s largest broadband comparison site “Top 10 Broadband” and our latest launch “Top 10 Mobile Phones”.

What was your first experience of social media?

My first experience of social media was using Bebo back in the day (cringe!) I’ve moved on from that now and enjoy Facebook and Twitter.

What is the biggest tip you would give to a newbie in social media?

Building up a network of friends and followers to any business site takes time, work on getting the content right and the fans will follow.

What do advertisers do that you wish they wouldn’t?

Spam out Twitter with hashtag promotions.

What do you do that is green?

Cycle to work most days

What events do you go to?

Mainly industry events held by networks or partners. The team recently went to the A4U Awards to collect the prize for best Telecoms and Technology affiliate for our site Top 10 Broadband – it was great fun.
