Tell me about your Blog?
www.andrewcommander.com was started this summer, as my personal blog to post about my learning experiences with Dennis at BlitzLocal. I also have been posting about what I am interested in.

What was your first blog?
www.andrewcommander.com is my first and only blog as of now. Maybe when I grow into a certain field of expertise I can expand out to a second blog. But as for now everything goes to my personal blog.

 What is the biggest tip you would give to a newbie blogger?
Keep writing content, people will re-visit a site that has a mediocre post updated every day or so. People will not re-visit a site that has a great article every week or so.

What do advertisers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
I wish advertisers would stop sponsored Tweets. I view them as spam; so why would I want to follow someone who is spamming my feed?

What do bloggers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
Bloggers often steal ideas from others, and steal all the traffic from search engines. The powerful bloggers can almost instantly rank for any keyword they wish.

Where do you see growth in the blogging field?
  I think that young people are really going to take over blogging. My friends are still all on Facebook and Myspace, soon to be things of the past. They will eventually get bored with those sites and need to find better ways to express themselves on the internet…BLOGGING!

 What new ideas are advertisers coming up with to take advantage of new trends?
Obviously sponsored tweets are one way. But another tactic that is hot right now is Green marketing and targeting those trying to be environmentally conscious.

What do you do to improve the world?
I like to save animals whenever the chance presents itself, like helping a turtle cross the road, or helping a dog find its house. I could see myself becoming a veterinarian someday because of my love for animals.

What do you do that is green?
I am big into Organic Composting</a>. This is the way that my family and I help reduce our trash output each week. Also we are provided with a great fertilizer that is FREE!

What is one thing about you that not many people know?
I am a cross country runner for my school, but more than running, I enjoy road cycling. When I am out on the road I feel free, as if I am floating.

What’s your favorite book?
The DaVinci Code or Kite Runner. Different genres but both are great.

 What is on your iPod?
Reggae (Slightly Stoopid, Marley Brothers) Techno, and Classic Rock like The Who, The Grateful Dead

What events do you go to? Events?
I attend cross country meets if that counts….But I would love to attend some SMX conference with Dennis…but that is if I have the time.

Facebook and Email are what I check most. But commenting on my blog works as well.
