Tell me about your Blog?
I currently have two active blogs. This Desert Life {in pictures} located at http://pkphotography.us  is about life in the desert, Yucca Valley, California and I use the photographs I take to compliment the stories I share. My second blog is titled Partners In Success located at http://pattyreiser.com . The focus of this blog is to attract people who have an interest in starting their own home based network marketing business. It’s networking marketing with a focus on personal development.

What was your first blog?
This Desert Life {in pictures} was my first blog which I started in April of 2009

What is the biggest tip you would give to a newbie blogger?
My advice to newbie bloggers is to do your homework. Research your niche, get to know other bloggers in your niche.

What do advertisers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
I haven’t really had any personal interactions with advertisers at this point.

Where do you see growth in the blogging field?
I see a growing trend of bloggers coming together and collaberating on projects together.

What new ideas are advertisers coming up with to take advantage of new trends?
Advertisers are collaberating with well known bloggers and helping them take their blogs to the next level. For example, Ree Drummond recently launched a recipe website with the help of Microsoft to compliment her blog, The Pioneer Woman.

What do you do to improve the world?
Recyle everything that I can and try to reduce my carbon footprint

What do you do that is green?
I use cloth and insultated bags when I go grocery shopping. I use only CFL lights throughout my home.

What is one thing about you that not many people know?
I was a widow at the age of 23

What’s your favorite book?
The Skye O’Malley series of historical romance novels by Beatrice Small. My daughter’s middle name is Skye.

What is on your iPod?
I have Duran Duran, Ozzy Osbourne and Get the Edge by Tony Robbins on my MP3 player to name a few

What events do you go to?
Have not been to any events thus far. In the future would like to attend Blogher, Blogworld, Photoshop World Expo

Email is ideal

Who would you recommend, and why?
David Risley because he is a problogger and an honest and down to earth guy who has lots of knowledge about blogging
